General Terms and Conditions for Private Customers (End Consumers)

These general terms and conditions apply exclusively to orders via our online shop www.loewenmesser.de to consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed.

 

Information on weapon law in Germany can be found here. If the goods are exported to other countries, the customer is responsible for checking whether and to what extent the import and possession of the goods are subject to country-specific restrictions or bans.

All prices are ex works, including VAT, excluding shipment and packaging.

We accept the following payment methods: Payment in advance, PayPal, Klarna invoice, Klarna-Sofort, credit card (Visa/ Mastercard/ AMEX), GooglePay, ApplePay, Maestro, ideal, eps transfer, Bancontact.

The minimum order value is 20,00 EUR

"Shipping costs" include the costs for postage, packaging, insurance and logistics. Depending on the payment method (transaction) fees may be added. We usually ship with DHL. The shipping costs include VAT and depend on the destination and the total weight of the ordered goods. Our shipping costs within Germany are calculated as follows:

Deliveries to foreign countries incur additional costs.
 

The amount will be displayed in the shopping cart or in the checkout area.

Incoming orders are usually shipped within 2-3 working days. If a product is not in stock or not available in the desired quantity at the time of ordering, we will contact you and inform you about the expected delivery date.

We only deliver by mail. Unfortunately, a self-collection of the products at our factory is not possible. We also do not deliver to packing stations.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the goods.
 

In order to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (C. Lütters & Cie. Löwenwerk, Bismarckstr. 3-7, 42659 Solingen, info@loewenmesser.de, Tel: + 49(0)212 81 61 61, Fax: +49(0 )212 81 75 58) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You can use the attached sample revocation form for this, but this is not mandatory.
 

If you withdraw from this contract, we have to refund you all payments that we have received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us have), immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, we use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless something else was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged fees for this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
 

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods to us.
 

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. We will reimburse you for the cost of the return shipment if the value of the returned goods exceeds 40 EUR.
 

The right of withdrawal does only apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are pre-fabricated and which have not been procured, produced or modified on the special request of the customer or tailored to an individual customer requirement.
 

As we manufacture our products by hand, there may be slight variations between products with the same model number. We are not liable for deviations based on this, unless they significantly reduce the suitability or the value of the goods. Likewise, we are not liable for material defects caused by improper use or normal wear and tear. The assessment of a defect is to be based on the condition of the goods when they were delivered.
 

The German legal warranty right applies.
 

If goods are delivered with obvious transport damages, please report such damages to the deliverer as soon as possible and contact us immediately.

The goods remain our property until full payment

We save the text of the contract and send you the order data and our terms and conditions by email. You can also view and download the General Terms and Conditions here on this page at any time. You can view your past orders in our customer login if you have created a customer account.
 

The contract language is German.
 

Place of performance and place of payment is Solingen. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, the validity of UN sales law is excluded.

We store the data about the buyer associated with the respective transaction and process them in accordance with the Data Protection Act. We refer to the separate data protection declaration (privacy policy) on our website.
